A WORD FOR THE MARRIED- Jesse Duplantis

If you're married, you need to take “I do” seriously. You take her and she takes you—that means you take the good
with the bad. You determine to work things out.
Unless the covenant is broken, whatever else is broken, you
both should
endeavor to fix it. Active love fixes most things. Selfishness and fear, on the other hand, continue breaking what’s
already stressed.

We’ve got to work on what we need to do and stop focusing so much on what your spouse needs to do.

For men, that means we
cherish and love her like Christ loved the Church—so much
that we’d die for her.

For women, it means to honor and
respect your man. We’re all required to put action behind our
words.
Love is always an action.
