The prosperity gospel teaches that one prospers only when giving.
Giving is the main emphasis. This is false!
True prosperity comes not only when
we give, but also when we know the laws of money and discipline ourselves to abide by them.
This is the difference between being rich and being poor.
There is an important place for the law of giving, it is only one of many laws.
Giving by itself would fail to make anyone sustainably rich.
