"NOBODY IS EVER BORN A TRANSGENDER"

Walt Heyer a resident of California, shared how he had sex change in the 1980s and even changed his name to Laura Jensen for eight years before having the surgery reversed.

However while living as Laura, Heyer had a job with the U.S. government and lived a fairly average life on the outside, but changing into a
woman did not resolve the mental and emotional conflict raging within him.

Heyer who is now 74, has mended his relationship with his children from his Marriage before he divorced to become a woman, he now works to help others who are facing the same struggles that he did, as he believes that ” nobody is ever born a transgender” that it’s just a psychological condition, “Gender dysphoria” where you are dissatisfied with your gender, as in his own case childhood experience of suffering sexual abuse from a relative, his grandmother dressing him like a girl contributed

“[M]y grandmother, when I was being babysat by her, started dressing me in female clothing. She even made me a purple chiffon evening dress,” he recalled. “And when dad found out what grandma had been doing, and dressing me up like a girl, it did change everything.” Then
“[My father’s] adopted brother Fred began to sexually molest me,” Heyer said.

He also remembers living in a stressful environment due to an overly disciplinary mother. “Mom’s discipline got even more severe,” Heyer explained, “and I would learn much later in life that on one occasion, her discipline was so tough she thought she had almost killed me.”
